Blackout Symphony transforms classical music into a unique experience in an intimate atmosphere with the lights completely turned off. The ensemble, consisting of two violins, viola, cello, double bass, and piano, is accompanied by a soprano. With visual distractions removed, listeners can focus more deeply on the tone, rhythm, and harmony of the music. One of the standout names in the alternative pop and indie rock scene, LP is meeting fans in Türkiye with three concerts in Ankara, İzmir, and Istanbul as part of Epifoni’s 10th anniversary celebrations. Laura Pergolizzi, who reached a worldwide audience with “Lost on You,” stands out with her distinctive vocals and musical style ranging from alternative rock to acoustic ballads. Having also written songs for artists such as Rihanna, Cher, and Christina Aguilera, LP continued her musical journey with her 2023 album Love Lines. The artist will perform at Ankara CerModern on August 11, İzmir Tarihi Havagazı Fabrikası on August 12, and Istanbul KüçükÇiftlik Park on August 14.

Ankara Echoes brings its distinctive musical style, highlighted by tracks such as “Beni Al” and “Eylül,” to the stage. Drawing inspiration from Ankara’s street culture and shaped by the energy of Istanbul, the group creates a unique atmosphere by blending Anatolian melodies with rock and electronic sounds. A diverse range of instruments, from bağlama to synth, comes together with powerful vocals and dark melodies, while their live performances offer an intense experience where rhythm, lyrics, and electronic textures intertwine.

“Soytarılar” brings the story of two retired clowns, Suat and Sami, to the stage as they search for ways to return to their former lives, blending humor with melancholy while exploring loneliness, friendship, and coming to terms with the past. The play follows how their lives change with the arrival of an unexpected guest, making audiences laugh while also inviting them to reflect on human relationships and loneliness. Written and directed by Serkan Budak, the production features Selahattin Taşdöğen, Ferdi Akarnur, Nur Yoldaş, and Buse Demirel.

Anton Chekhov’s classic “The Cherry Orchard” is brought to the stage as a one-person adaptation, exploring themes of loss, the past, and farewell through a mother’s inner journey. The story follows Lyubov Andreyevna as she returns to her homeland after many years and faces the loss of her family’s cherry orchard, intertwining personal struggles with social change. Directed by Mustafa Kaygusuz, the production features Dilfuza Rozyyeva, who reinterprets Chekhov’s work through memories, belonging, and the traces of what has been lost, giving the classic story a distinctive theatrical language.

Müzede Sahne returns from August 27–30 as part of the Sakıp Sabancı Museum’s 10th anniversary, under the theme “Transformation Through Plays.” Curated by Ayşe Draz, the program brings together theater, dance, performance, talks, and workshops across different spaces of the museum. The event features productions and performances including Onur Ünsal’s Bir Kadının Kavgaları ve Dönüşümleri and Begüm Erciyas’ Attika’dan Mektuplar, alongside activities designed for different age groups and a diverse selection of stage productions.

Color Fest Beach Camp offers a two-night, three-day outdoor experience that brings camping, music, and sports activities together. Babylon Soundgarden 2026 brings together local and international artists from a variety of musical genres at Bonus Parkorman for two days on August 22–23. Organized by Pozitif Müzik, the festival’s first day features artists such as Tomora, Rikas, Lin Pesto, and Istanbul West Side Collective, while Jack White, Wet Leg, The Kills, Radio Free Alice, and Miskinler will take the stage on August 23.
